— About
Twenty years of building websites and teaching others to do the same — from the early web, through Squarespace and Blocs, to teaching the part no tool can give you.

— The Journey
Two decades of building websites and teaching others to do the same — and how it led to the part no tool can give you.
The Beginning
2005
I started building websites with WordPress, RapidWeaver, iWeb, and whatever other tools existed at the time — long before today's website builders.
SQUARESPACE
2011–
I began working seriously with Squarespace — version 5 at the time — and design became a craft I wanted to get genuinely good at. Around 2014 I became a Squarespace Authorized Trainer: my first real step from building websites into teaching them.
BLOCS
2015–
In 2015 I started building with Blocs, and it clicked — it became the tool I'd shape the next decade of my work around. Since then I've built Blocs Templates, Blocs Master, and Blocs Library, together the largest collection of resources for the builder — and I'm still at it, with new courses, templates, and near-monthly updates.
NOW
Today
After years of teaching the tools, I kept seeing the same gap: a tool gets you 80% of the way, and the last 20% — what makes a site look professional — is what nobody teaches. That's what I teach now, starting with Make It Premium — these days working entirely from an iPad, which I share on my YouTube channel.
