Enjoy Netflix in any country in the world

I love Netflix, but before today, it was not officially available in the country of my residence. I had to use alternative ways to get the access to my Netflix account. No more. During its presentation at CES 2016, Netflix has just announced that their popular service is going to be available in additional 130 countries all around the world.

As a result, starting today, users can enjoy Netflix content in more than 190 countries, which makes it a huge entertainment force not only on the North American continent, but globally as well. Of course, the content will vary on a country by country basis, but even just the fact that all Netflix original content will be instantly available in all of these countries is very exciting.

With the help of the Internet, we are putting power in consumers’ hands to watch whenever, wherever and on whatever device.

During the keynote, the co-founder and Chief Executive of Netflix, Reed Hastings said: “Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network. With this launch, consumers around the world -- from Singapore to St. Petersburg, from San Francisco to Sao Paulo - will be able to enjoy TV shows and movies simultaneously - no more waiting. With the help of the Internet, we are putting power in consumers’ hands to watch whenever, wherever and on whatever device.”

In the most countries, the user interface is still displayed in English. With its global expansion, Netflix has added Arabic, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese to bring the number of supported languages to over 20.

One noticeable absentee from the list of supported countries is China (as well as North Korea, Syria and other regions with U.S. government restrictions). Visit this link to check the full list of supported countries and territories.

You can sign up for Netflix and try using it for one month completely free of charge. Just go to www.netflix.com and compete a simple registration procedure and start to enjoy it today. We surely already do.
