iPhone 7 to have dual lens camera
It is not a secret that the iPhone is the most popular camera in the world. Apple has improved the camera hardware with each new version of iPhone, and iPhone 7 will be no different.
According to a well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is working on bringing the completely new camera hardware to its next iPhone. Apparently, there will be two versions of iPhone 7 Plus, one of which will have a dual camera.
This change will not come as a surprise. Just last year Apple has acquired the Israeli camera technology company called LinX Imaging, which was known for its work on multiple sensor camera optics.
What will this change mean for a regular customer? Well, apart from the visual difference design, the new camera will dramatically improve the quality of pictures you could take with your iPhone.
These are just some of possible improvements coming to the camera of the next iPhone:
- Dramatically improved noise reduction
- Much better low light image quality
- Higher resolution
- Up to 3x optical zoom
- 3D depth mapping
- More accurate colors
- Overall improvement in quality
It is still January, but we already hear more and more rumors about the next generation of iPhone. Meanwhile, at the upcoming event in March, Apple is expected to introduce the successor to its budget version of the iPhone, which, according to various rumors might be called iPhone 5se or iPhone 6se.
