iPhone 5s and 5c Outselling Competitors
According to an analytic company Canaccord Genuity, both of Apple's new iPhones are outselling all the competitors, including Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and Nokia Lumia 1020. iPhone 5s is the best selling phone at all four major carriers in US: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.
iPhone 5c is less popular compared to iPhone 5s, what is probably one of the reasons why it is sold with huge discounts at some major retail stores in US, including Walmart and Radio Shack. (You can purchase iPhone 5c for as low as $45 dollars if you visit these stores in coming weeks.) But even that 5c is behind iPhone 5s, it is surprisingly outselling the cut-priced Samsung Galaxy S4 at AT&T and Sprint despite deficit in some memory and color configurations.
This year, for the first time in history of iPhone, Apple has changed the iPhone selling strategy, introducing not one, but two new models of iPhone: iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Until now Apple always introduced just one new model, while lowering the price of the previous year's model. It looks like the new strategy is promising very positive iPhone sales for Apple, and it may effect the strategies for selling other products like iPad or Mac.
