I Have Rebuilt My Newsletter List

I have finally decided to rebuild my email list from scratch to make sure I send newsletters only to people who want to hear from me.

I have lost 3,317 subscribers in the process, but I love the new refreshed list.

I have lost 3,317 subscribers in the process, but I love the new refreshed list.

I have been managing different blogs in different languages for many years. During these years, a lot of people have subscribed to one of my newsletters. Last month, I decided to merge them all into one list, and, in the process, make sure that all the people on that list want to be there.

The statistics for my newsletter list (before refresh)

Blocs Templates newsletter subscribers: 923
Blocs Master newsletter subscribers: 1,232
Space Master newsletter subscribers: 272
Eldar Gezalov newsletter subscribers: 1,432
Eldartech newsletter subscribers: 921

Total number of subscribers before the refresh: 4,780

I know it might not be the perfect way to manage a newsletter list, but I have concluded that there are more pros than cons to having just one simple email list. The biggest reason for me was the fact that many of my subscribers were on multiple email lists, and with a single directory, it will be so much easier for me to avoid sending duplicate email to my followers.

I choose the quality over quantity

I am happy to say that I have finally completed the rebuilding process for my new newsletter email list, and, as of today, I have only 1,463 subscribers.

Subscribers before refresh: 4,780
Subscribers after refresh: 1,463
Subscribers lost: 3,317

I know that I have lost over 3 thousands of people, but I am loving the idea of having an email list with just the people who want to receive my emails. (I hate to be this guy who spams people).

During the rebuilding process, I have probably lost a lot of subscribers who still want to be on my email list, so if you are one of them, please subscribe again using the newsletter sign up box below.

P.S. I am working on many awesome projects at the moment, which I can't wait to share with my newsletter subscribers! Stay tuned!
