Apple to Hold Earnings Call on October 28

On Monday, October 28, at 2:00 pm PT / 5:00 pm ET, Apple is going to conduct a conference call to discuss financial results of its forth fiscal quarter of 2013. During the call, in addition to other financial results, Apple is expected to announce the results of first full sales of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.

For recent years Apple's stock price is going down, so it is very interesting to see if a change in strategy for new iPhones can improve the situation.

To remind you, this year, for the first time in history, Apple has changed the iPhone selling strategy, introducing not one, but two new models of iPhone: iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Until now, Apple always introduced just one new model, while lowering the price of the previous year's model. If first reports from analyst firms to be believed, new strategy is working out very positively for Apple.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is expected to announce a revenue of $34-37 billion with earnings of over $9 billion. For the same forth quarter last year, these numbers were $36 billion for revenue and 8.2 billion for earnings. If expectations are to be confirmed, Apple will make about $10 billion dollars more in earnings for the 2013 fiscal year, compared to 2012.
