Apple announced that iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps for iOS will be available for free download to all customers who purchase a new iOS device starting September 1st. Apparently, not everybody follow the latest news from Apple, so some users bought some of these apps even after purchasing an eligible iOS device.

Fortunately, Cupertino company has begun offering the iTunes credit to these people, providing them with iTunes codes in amount of the apps they have purchased. These codes can be used to purchase any content from App Store, iTunes Store or iBooks Store.

Each of iWork apps sells for $10, while iPhoto and iMovie are available for $5 each. All of these apps are universal, so if you buy a Pages app for iPhone, you can install and use a Pages app for iPad for free.
